THE SOUTHPORT PROJECT

For the last 2 years, Southport Magazine has been my passion project that I am so proud of. I’ve created opportunities for myself that I never could’ve imagined when I first started, and we’ve worked with artists and creatives that I’m so grateful wanted to be apart of what of what we’re doing.

Truthfully, I planned on quitting doing this altogether last year, but I’ve revitalized my desire to build a community of music lovers and curate awesome experiences. The success and growth we’ve seen in the last month alone has been astonishing, and we’re not even close to where we want to be.

The brand is at a crucial crossroads, where we have no option other than to go full speed ahead. We’ve been blessed with opportunities from sponsors, promotion collaborators, and larger blogs looking to mentor us. Due to these big changes around us, we’re going to be changing our company from the inside out. This short post is going to be dedicated to informing you of our exciting plans for the year of 2024, as we always like to remain transparent with everyone, and publicly state our goals and plans, which in theory would push us to work even harder to achieve them.

STAFF

We’ve begun hiring a staff of journalists, photographers, and social media assistants. We have added 2 members to our team, but we’re still looking to build even bigger, so if you’re interested in working with us, please email southportcontact@gmail.com

EVENTS

We will be throwing a show in 2024. We’re already in talks with venues and artists to work with us for this. I will definitely be DJ-ing.

MERCHANDISE

Last time we did a private shirt drop it went very well, so we plan on working towards our first public items, which will be available via this website.

PLAYLISTS (SOUTHPORT PACKS)

Our new “SOUTHPORT PACKS” have been a great success and we will be continuing to build upon that idea with different artists, creatives and events.

You’ll soon be seeing our specially curated mixtape playlists more often, maybe even with exclusive tracks from our favourite underground artists 😉
